Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a dedicated Machine Operator for the 2nd shift to join their client's team in Sparks, Maryland. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of bottling equipment, contributing to a safe and productive work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, and monitor bottling line equipment including fillers, cappers, and labelers.
  • Inspect products to ensure quality, fill accuracy, and adherence to packaging standards.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting and minor repairs on machinery as needed.
  • Maintain accurate production records and follow the daily production schedules.
  • Ensure the bottling area is clean and free from any safety hazards.
  • Adhere to all safety, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) protocols.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Prior experience in bottling, packaging, or manufacturing is preferred.
  • Possess mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for 8+ hours.
  • Team-oriented with strong communication skills.
  • Willingness to adhere to strict safety and quality standards.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.

Required Work Hours

Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, onsite in Sparks, MD.

Benefits

The position offers a competitive pay rate of $18.50 per hour.

Additional Details

Pay range is fixed at $18.50 per hour.
